Frame protection for mountain bikes

Each DYEDBRO MTB kit is a set of pre-cut protectors made from 300 µm (0.3 mm) PVC with a high-contact adhesive. A kit has 8 pieces: one top tube protector, one down tube protector, two chainstay protectors, two seatstay protectors and two extra pieces for larger frames. They are designed to protect the top tube, down tube, seatstays and chainstays from paint chips and scuffs.

Clear or patterned

Clear kits come in Clear Gloss and Clear Matt, with the DYEDBRO logo printed in black or white, so your frame's paint stays visible. Patterned kits carry printed designs, including the Artist Series. In every kit the down tube piece is clear and matches the kit's finish: Gloss kits come with a gloss down tube section, Matt kits with a matt one.

The range also includes the EVO Clear MTB/Ebike Frame Protector, a high-elasticity clear film fitted with a wet application, and the SHUSH Chainstay and Downtube Protectors, moulded silicone parts that protect the frame; the Chainstay Protector also reduces chain slap noise.

Installation

Patterned and clear kits are applied dry to a clean frame. Use a hairdryer on low heat as you work to make the film flexible around bends. Step-by-step videos for fitting and removal are in our installation guide.
